Antique Automobile Club of America (Roanoke Valley Region)

The Roanoke Valley Region AACA is devoted to the restoration and preservation of antique automobiles twenty-five years or older. More Details

The club is one of over 400 regions that make up AACA and is celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2010. This regional AACA is one of the largest within the national organization. The Dogwood Festival, Festival in the Park and Old Salem Days are among the shows The Roanoke Valley Region AACA hosts each year. August 12-14 the local region hosts the AACA National Southeastern Fall Meet at Virginia Tech. The regional club is also well represented at many other local and national events. Blue Ridge Miata Club

BRMC was founded in 1999 and the club has members of all ages. Member’s interests span from “garage queens” to daily drivers, auto-cross and SCCA competitors.

 The Blue Ridge region numbers 140. Members participate in Concours d'Elegance, autocross, rallye and drivers education (DE) held at various road course tracks. Our region holds its DE at North Carolina Motor Speedway. We also hold numerous social events throughout the year. The PCA unofficial slogan is "it's not just the cars, it's the people". British Automobile Club of SW Virginia

The club has monthly drives to sight-see or to a restaurant. The club generally meets on the 1st Sunday of each month. Locations vary. A low-key group, they attend multiple car shows and cruise to Virginia International Raceway for vintage races. The Commonwealth Coach and Trolley Museum, Inc.

Formed in 1999 when the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke dissolved its fleet of transit coaches. More Details

A group familiar with Roanoke's 1997 Downtown Plan, which called for the restoration of the Museum's fleet for use by non-profits and community events, met to form an organization. The Commonwealth Coach and Trolley Museum, Inc. was formed and received 501-c-3 status from the I.R.S. in 2000.  All personnel who drive and maintain the fleet are non-paid and the museum only asks for donations for fuel and maintenance if an organization is capable of assisting. This museum’s mission is to restore older buses and trolleys and use them to serve non-profit groups and public events. There are 500 members dedicated to riding and having FUN! A goal is to have a ride or event each weekend. The Roanoke Valley Chapter hosts monthly dinner rides. The Roanoke Valley Chapter has organized the activities at Happy’s Flea Market during Star City Motor Madness.

The Hill City Mustang Cruisers

Our club meets every month and drive together as a group to a destination. Each month we go to places like a drag-strip, the Blue Ridge Parkway, or a Mustang show, etc. We meet at various times of the month depending on the event we plan for. Roanoke Valley Mopar Club

This includes all Mopar vehicles - antiques, classics, muscle cars, sports cars, sport utility types, trucks, and current models. It also includes vehicles manufactured by companies that are or were owned/associated with Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, such as AMC, Jeep, and Mitsubishi manufactured Chrysler brands (Plymouth Laser, Eagle Talon, etc.). The Mopar club is made up of enthusiastic people in the Roanoke Valley area who share a common interest in these various types of Mopar vehicles. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Vinton Moose Family Center. The Roanoke Valley Mustang Club is a chartered, regional group of the Mustang Club of America. More Details

We are the only SW VA club recognized with the MCA’s President's Award for devotion to the Mustang hobby and community service. Membership in the Mustang Club is open to anyone with an interest in the preservation and enjoyment of Mustangs. Car ownership is not a requirement. The club meets the third Tuesday of each month at Logan's Restaurant at Valley View Mall, at 7pm. Club activities include cruise-ins, cook outs, caravans to shows, baseball games, drive-in movies and other member outings. The Roanoke Valley Mustang Club has been a proud sponsor of Star City Motor Madness since 2005. Roanoke Valley Volkswagen Club
The Roanoke Valley Volkswagen Club, established in 1995, is dedicated to the love of Volkswagens. More Details

An interest in Volkswagens of any model, or year, is the only requirement for membership. We have no dues and we welcome all types of VW’s–Beetles, Ghias, Buses, Dune Buggies, Water Cooled, everything that has a VW nameplate. You don’t even have to own a VW to attend our events. Just come and enjoy the company of other VW enthusiasts. We meet the first Monday of every month, unless It is a holiday, which we meet on the second Monday. Please join us for good food and good fun at Shoney’s Restaurant on Wildwood Rd in Salem, Va. Meetings start around 7:00 PM, arrive early for dinner. Bring the whole family!

We were formed in September of 1994 and we are a highly visible, community based organization. We participate to many charitable events. We schedule a variety of monthly club events and outings. Star City Classic Thunderbirds

In 1976 a group of Thunderbird enthusiasts got together with the idea of forming a club to promote their interest in the Ford Thunderbird. More Details

An organizational meeting was held, officers were chosen, By Laws were drawn up, and an application was made to the State Corporation Commission for a charter as a non-profit limited corporation. On September 13th 1976 a charter was issued and entered to the record in the office the State Corporation Commission. The club continued to grow as word of its existence began to get around in the old car hobby. The new club decided to apply for a charter to become a chapter of The Classic Thunderbird Club International. A charter was issued on June 25th 1977 for chapter number 75 The Star City Classic Thunderbirds Ltd.

Star City Pontiac Club

The Star City Chapter of POCI is based in Roanoke and composed of Pontiac enthusiasts from all over Southwest Virginia. More Details

Club president is Chris Reynolds. Meeting once a month, all lovers of Pontiacs, from the oldest to new are welcome to join the club. The club meets the second Sunday each month at 6:00(5:00 in summer months) at various monthly selected locations.

Studebaker Drivers Club of SW Virginia

YOVASO stands for Youth of Virginia Speak Out About Traffic Safety. More Details

Many area high schools have YOVASO in which the students participate in a variety of activities such as going to elementary schools and talking about traffic safety and doing seat belt checks.
